Cabin Fever has caught up with area boaters and it looks like crowded lakes this weekend on are public lakes.

   Rain and cold weather coupled with windy conditions has had boaters at bay so far this year.  If you plan on hitting the lakes this weekend for amateur weekend, remember to have all your vessel documentation in order and be patient with all the "newbies" on the water.  They are unaware of ramp and lake etiquette. Hopefully they will learn quick in order to not tie up loading ramps and launch area docks. Have discretion in communications with them and be helpful where possible.
