Update From The 2009 Nationals

Nationals update from foreign correspondent: Airborne Raybourne

After 4 days Team Tennessee has been pounding the podium with 17 medals (3 Gold) along with a few top 5 misses.  Here's the breakdown:

Boys I -Garrett Staillings 1st Tricks, 3rd Overall.....Congrats Garrett!
Boys III-Insane Zane Nicholson 4th Slalom
Men I, Aaron Curmi 1st Tricks, 5th Overall
Men II-Brian Sparks, 5 Tricks, 2nd Slalom (after a run-off for the championship)
Mathew Curmi, 2nd Tricks with an impressive 8200pts.
Men III Rick Staillings, 2nd Tricks
Men IV  GW, 4th Tricks
Men V Hambone 3rd Jump, 3rd Overall
Mens Near Miss goes to Ryan Paul, 6th in Men 2 slalom.... great skiing Ryan!


For the Ladies:

Girls II-Brie Carter continued her winning ways with a Gold in Slalom, Kara Macintyre, Silver in Tricks, 4th Jump, 2rd Overall-Awesome!
Near Miss goes to Julia Stailling with an 8th in Tricks
Women III- Diane FEE FEE Pastoor landed a 4th in Jump!

Solid performances from Michael Milhorn, Kirby (NBOP) Whetsel, Paul Turner, Chanah and Caylee Carter,Charlsey Newman, Allie Nicholson, and Zack Shaggy Macintyre round out the Team Tennesee Field thus far.   

But....we're not done yet!  The big guns go after Podium Placements in Men II Jump, Men III and Men IV slalom and Jump and Masters Men Jump, tomorrow on the last day of the 2009 U.S. National Championships.   Go get 'em:  Matt, GW, ORB, NBOP, Rudy, Sparksy, Turner Boy and Spidey!
