                                                       Random Ramblings

Condolences to Diane Pastoor, her father, Jerry Pastoor passed away today.

Condolences to Barbara Canfield of Canyon Lake California.  Her husband, Wayne passed away on Sept. 23rd.  They have been very involved in skiing and judging, scoring and driving for over 40 years.

The Soggy Bottom Ski Club held their last tournament of the year and the weather cooperated fairly well.  Thanks for a great year with tournaments, both local and the State. Thanks for the Margarator!

No-Wake Magic continues.  Their September tournament posted some HUGE jumps as usual.  Thanks to Mark Duggan, Dave Hensley, Tommy Fu , Jerry and all the club members for a great season.

The Inter-Collegiate Tournament scheduled to be held at Lake Pryor last weekend was a bust.  The University of Alabama was the only full team to show.

Haley Runion turned 19 last Sunday.  Roll Tide!

Brie Carter (National Record Holder) turned 14 on September 18th.

Rain, Rain, Rain has brought area lakes over summer pool.  At least the water is warm and we can look forward to a long skiing fall after the incoming sunny cool snap dissipates.

Ski Clubs that have held tournaments, please settle up your skier head tax with Tim Denny as soon as possible.

New State Records need to be submitted to Ham Wallace by Thanksgiving. At This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . I need Number of boys, feet or trick points.  Where performed, date and any info.  I would like to get the record books updated as soon as possible.

Linda Giddens is home and on her way to recovery. Word from Leonard is that it will be slow but we expect a full recovery.
